Y11 GCSE TEXTILES PENCIL CASE

To help students come to lessons with the correct equipment for their GCSE Textiles course, the Design and Technology Department at Southam College have put together a clear pencil case that includes paper scissors, fabric scissors, 1 stitch ripper, 1 pack of needles 1 tape measure, 1 fineliner, 1 glue stick, 1 tacking thread, 1 tailors chalk and a pot of pins. The cost of the pencil case will be £10.00.

If you would like to place an order, parent pay is available or payment can be made by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Southam College.

The Sabrina Jones Photography Competition

Today Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust is launching a Photography competition to celebrate the life of a beautiful, inspirational young lady, Sabrina Jones that attended Southam College.

Sabrina had a passion for Photography and it was her wish that we annually run this competition.

Please send your entry to bradburn.c@welearn365.com, label your picture clearly with your name and school. 
Winners will be announced on the 18th December, all entries must be emailed by Thursday 14th December.

Well done Euan

Euan was presented with his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and a Platinum award on Sunday by the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Tim Cox.
He achieved this with his local Explorer scout group, 1st Stretton on Dunsmore Explorer Unit. You should be delighted with your award.
