The Year 10 team came across a very big and talented Ashlawn team in the dark on Wednesday evening. The Southam boys were fired up, having had numerous games in the past weeks cancelled they set about showing Mr. Lowdon what he had been missing. Led well by Will Eadon, the young Southam men, in particular, James Emeny and Brad McDaid took the game to a well drilled opposition. Powerful ball carrying by the Southam forwards created the opportunity for the Southam scrum half to score an excellent try following a neat break down the blind side. Will Eadon converted well from the touchline.
Unfortunately the Ashlawn centre proved to be the key difference between the two teams. His two trys proving to be the difference between the two teams.
Final score 7-15.
MOM: James Emeny
