On Wednesday 20th November pupils from Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 competed in the school heat of the Rotary Young Chef Competition. Their task was to cook and serve a meal for two. Judging took place by a panel of 5 which included last years regional finalist, Emily Buckley and the Deputy Mayor. The standard was incredibly high which made the judging extremely difficult. Charlotte Bonham from Year 8 went through in first place. The other 3 places will have to be decided by a dessert Bake off between students Emily Steele-Pells,Tilly England (year 9) Carly Lucas and Lauren Rankin (year 7). We will keep you updated.
